Sera is also a serial killer.
Hear me out. Another reason this serial came into being was because someone asked me what the difference was between this All Human!Sera and New Aeterna!Sera. I was going to say not much difference because she is a serial killer in both. Then I realized I hadn’t pointed out that she was a serial killer in the Human!Verse. In this verse she kills :
Titus (AJ’s Father) - Titus is mentioned every now and then in the series and it’s mentioned that they haven’t seen him in a while. It’s because Sera killed him when she found out she was pregnant. This graphs to her killing Titus in the OG series.
Homeless Stranger - During a flashback in Pink Neon Sera mentioned shoving a man into a dumpster and him not getting back up
Helios - After the home invasion, Sera and Leon kidnap and do a murder on him. That’s why she is so adamant that he’s not involved in the Severance killings. In the OG series she tears him apart with her bare hands off screen. In NA!Verse she chops him to pieces.
The Severance Stalker - Sera lied about what she did to the Severance Stalker. He broke in and in a rage of PTSD and anger she stabbed him to death and cut him into pieces.
Me in 2025 : Oh boy, they are not going to like that they get back together in the end
Me in 2022 : But the ending is cute. They get to re-do their wedding from 20 years ago but this time they have a room full of family and friends.
Me In 2026 : Maybe they will forget why they don’t like Paris…
Muse : He’s kind of a narcissist, Sera literally bails him out of literal and emotional debt. He gets his wife back and to start his career over while Sera has to give up the the alternative life she made for herself and go back to the life she walked away from
Me In 2026 : But Sera has finished her time in Severance and is looking for her next adventure. She just happens to find it on the road with Paris. I imagine they lead slightly more independent lives and probably split their time between two homes.
Muse : Also it’s like SHV’s AU!AH characters from Years and you AU!AH characters switched coast. So that's kind of cute.
Speaking of.
Yes. I was inspired by SHV’s Pulse. I liked the idea of an invisible character being the culprit.
Muse : Yeah, I’m pretty sure that was the plot of AYC and the plot of JNRR.
Me : IDK why I keep doing that.
What’s next ?
I imagine Paris and Sera ‘Take 2’ on marriage and relocate to Nevada. Like I said above, I imagine this marriage will be very different than before. I imagine they won’t live together full-time and that Paris will work in suburban Clark County as an activist/lawyer with a local position while Sera lives near Vegas and heads out with her RV whenever she needs to get away.
I do imagine squeezing one more story out of this that takes place 3 or 4 years in the future where we find Sera and Paris have gotten back into the high-end BDSM game and open a Lux Aeterna spin-off on the Vegas Strip after Sera gets injured at a weightlifting competition. All is well until a high-profile client is found dead.
The last person to see them is New Aeterna's newest employee, Helena Argos-- Paris and Sera’s niece who is trying to find herself.
I could also see Cami coming back, I imagine she drops out of law school and becomes a burnt out one-hit wonder in the podcasting world and starts working as a private investigator. After her experience in Severance she also realizes she is bisexual.
I also imagine it being short and more straightforward. I do think I lose myself in the endings because I want to shove in so many things.
I have also considered doing a non-murder too..
Well..That’s a 2030 problem.

What’s ACTUALLY next ?
Technically Lipari is next. It’s my introduction to the Litany Lane : Lore & Legacies. Lipari is a fluffy escapist Litany Lane story that was kind of inspired by over the top Harlequins with a dash of family drama. I started this bad boy a decade ago and finished outlining it maybe 2 years ago. I had to edit it a bit to act as an intro to L&L.
I do have a few short one-shots--- so maybe we will ease in with those.
