So, we have reached the end of part 1. Now this is all one serial. I wrote this in chunks to better orient myself in the story. Then separated for pacing reason, so I wouldn't overwhelm myself. Since this is just a breather I have no grand sweeping gestures of closure to comment on.
I’ve been kind of playing the “long-con” with whether Pariphina would actually go anywhere. Well not really since they have that whole fate thing, but still.
I wrote Lux with the mindset of this sort of set up happening. In Lux Seraphina wasn’t yet the character I wanted her to be and Paris wasn’t either. Which is why in a lot of ways Lux is more like a prequel.
I needed Paris to be the peace-mongering "anti-anti" hero who had already found the woman he loved and somehow finds himself attracted to a beautiful stoic guard who is loyal to the man she is sworn to protect, his enemy. Originally this enemy was going to be Anne but she never quite fit the bill as evil. I wanted Isobel to just "be" his girlfiend in Lux, but I wanted to explore how they met too.
I also really enjoyed the idea of normal girl/paranormal guy start a relationship storyline after I did it in NAF, and I was able to explore this with Parisobel.
If you re-read Lux (even though I do cringe at times) it might become obvious what this was all leading up to. Or at least it does to me because it was my idea.

Um, LiLe I hate to get all truth in fiction , but are you ever going to talk about protection ? Shouldn't this be a concern of Sera's ?

What's the deal with Seraphina's nickname ? Why go between Sera and Seraphina ?
So in Lux this happens
Oh my God”, [Isobel ]said, “Sera you are. . . so cold. my hand feels numb.”
The Angel rolled her shoulders as if trying to shake off the nickname.
This is the only time Sera is ever called "Sera". The nickname is given to her by Isobel and Isobel and Paris are the only ones who use it.

Wait...so [In chapter 11] Paris seems to be aware of things he wasn’t in the room for. Is this like hinting at something or did you just have to do this for the dramz.
Not for the dramz. This hints at the fact that Seraphina tells him all this later, this is hinting that he talks to Seraphina again.. He's supposed to be looking back for the entire first, chapter, but I still get in tense-fights with myself where past tense just seems bleh.
Wait . . . so why does Paris fall off a roof and live
This was foreshadowed in chapter 2 when Helios carries Paris up tot he roof and drops him. . .and he lives.
Wait, when it was asked about boxer/briefs of your characters did you answer about Paris wearing orange Michael Kors briefs because you already wrote this scene
